The Tongass Narrows stretches in front of the home, with views of Gravina Island, Vallenar Rocks, and Prince of Wales Island. Cruise ships pass through the narrows in front of the home during the summer season, along with pleasure boats, tugs and barges, wind surfers, kayaks and paddle boarders. You will find the beauty of Southeast Alaska that is experienced from the home as appealing in the winter months as during the summer. Children will spend countless hours on the beach collecting small crabs and minnows in the tide pools, exploring the beach which offers a 19-foot tidal range from high to low tide during certain times of the year.
